Portraits show the life a person has lived, the joy a person emanates, the wisdom gained through years of living, and focuses on the soul of the person. This exhibit is for the fresh face of a two-year old toddler or the lived-in face of an octogenarian, and all living in between. Full length portraits are encouraged, but this exhibit centers on faces, however the artist portrays them, whether realistic, impressionistic, surreal, or abstract. Bodies in motion, thoughtful faces, eyes as the mirror of the soul are all part of the portrait.
