Del Ray Artisans presents High Note, an art exhibit exploring the connection between music and the mind. Please join us at the opening reception on Friday, September 6 from 7-9pm to enjoy live music by guitarist Bill Cabrera, meet the artists, congratulate the award winners, and possibly win a prize in our raffle!

Music has a profound influence on us, shaping the way we feel and think. Whether symphonies make your spirit soar or doo wops do it for you, a familiar melody can unleash powerful memories, transporting us in space and time. Come see this exhibit to experience how artists captured the high notes from the soundtrack of their lives.

The juror is Britt Conley, a visual soundscape artist who paints and draws music, its physics, sound shapes, and concepts from her studio at the Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton, Virginia.
